Reader Mode

Read through your manuscript with annotations and notes.

Opening Reader Mode

Click the reader icon in the navigation bar to switch to reader mode. Select a book and chapter to read through your prose in a clean, distraction-free layout.

Navigation

Use the sidebar to jump between books, chapters, and scenes. The reader flows through scenes within a chapter sequentially.

Reader Notes

Select text in reader mode to add a note. Notes can be categorised and colour-coded. Use them for:

• Marking continuity issues you spot while reading
• Flagging sections that need rewriting
• Adding comments for beta readers or editors
• Tracking pacing and tension notes

Notes are anchored to the text, so they stay in place even if you edit the manuscript.
