1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Continuum Writer (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
Continuum Writer is licensed, not sold. A valid license key grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on up to 3 machines owned by you.
Each license includes 12 months of updates from the date of purchase. After this period, the App continues to function but will not receive new updates without a renewal purchase.
3. Trial
A 14-day free trial is available with full feature access. No credit card is required. After the trial expires, a valid license key is required to continue using the App.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied, contact us or request a refund through Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
5. AI Features & API Keys
AI features in Continuum Writer require a third-party API key (OpenAI, Anthropic) or a local model setup (Ollama). You are responsible for any costs charged by your chosen AI provider. We do not charge for AI usage.
6. Your Data
All data you create in Continuum Writer (manuscripts, characters, timelines, etc.) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. AI queries are sent directly to your chosen provider, not through our servers.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Share, resell, or redistribute your license key
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
8. Limitation of Liability
Continuum Writer is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from use of the App. We recommend maintaining backups of your work.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
