Exporting

Export your manuscript from Continuum Writer in multiple formats.

Available Formats

• Markdown — Clean .md file, great for further editing or version control
• Word — .docx format, suitable for submitting to editors or agents
• PDF — For reading, sharing, or printing

How to Export

1. Open the book you want to export
2. Go to File → Export in the menu bar
3. Choose your format (Markdown, Word, or PDF)
4. Select a save location

What's Included

Exports include all scenes within the selected book, assembled in order with chapter headings. Scene breaks are preserved. Formatting (bold, italic, headings) is carried through to all formats.

What's Not Included

Exports contain the manuscript prose only. Characters, timeline data, world-building entries, and notes are not included in the export. These are part of the .continuum project file.
